It really depends on your skin type, but you need something that unclogs your pores w/ benzoyl peroxide as a main ingredient. Proactive is good but the ONLY thing that works for me, since i play sports alot too, is Clean & Clear Deep Clean. it is in a blue and white and green bottle and it really works. it showed a MAJOR difference in 2 days!!! not joking. it sounds like a commercial lol but it really works! it doesnt take long touse it. every mornin and night but it is fine if you do it once a day. My breakouts aren’t NEARLY as frequent and when i do have one, there isnt as many pimples. ok hope i helped! you should really try it since you play sports!

well if its really bad get hot water on a cloth and hold it on your face for like thirty minutes… not only will it reduce redness it will drag all the oil **** to the front to make it easy to clean or pop.. i had this HUUUUUGGEEE one on my nose and the hot water thing (i did it like 3 times that day) got rid of it in a day, but it was kinda scabbed over. but also.. visine for red eyes.. gets rid of a lot of redness. i do it all the time (like this morning) and it works SOOOOOO well. just put a drop on.. let it soke it. ect. and repeat a couple times (like 4 or 5) then wait like five minutes.. it makes a huge difference

If you want something cheap and easy, I use Neutrogena Stress Free Acne control. It doesnt have anything to do with stress, or at least I don’t think it does, but I do know that it works for any type of skin.. its pretty cheap too, you can get it at any drugstore…

I know this might sound weird, but I use Dial liquid hand soap (the orange kind). It works really well, and I only have to use it once a day. Just make sure you get like a facial moisturizer to use along with it if your face dries out really easily.

I would suggest anything off the Clean and Clear line. Luckily I only get one or two zits every so often so, I would use the Clean and Clear – Advanced Treatment tube. Now, I use the Morning Burst facial wash. I haven’t tried it yet, but I heard the Advanced Treatment facial wash works very well.

Use a facial steamer, it works really well, set it on hot for 15 min, then cold. I tried it the other day, and now my face is back to normal. If you do hot, it hurts a bit because the steam is hot, but its actually opening up your blocked pores, and then cold makes your face fell good. If it doesn’t work the first time, do it a couple more times. You notice how your face feels really greasy afterwards, that’s the stuff in your blocked pores. Pat your face dry with a clean towel, if you scrub, it irritates your face. For some reason, its like no ones heard of a facial steamer! It takes a couple of min, about 30-60.
Good luck!

Try this simple remedy. Wash your face twice a day in warm salty water. This should leave your face oil free without aggravating the acne like soap. The secret of keeping the skin clear is to keep it oil-free and clean. Check out http://useinfo-acne.blogspot.com/ for more useful info.
