i am using clidamycine and its making me break out a lot.i called my doctor and he said that like with most treatment it gets worse before it gets better why is this?

what kind of acne treatment have you guys had good experiences with? i dont have bad acne, just some scattered around my face. please tell me what has worked for you guys?
I’ve been having acne problems bad and Im 25 years old. I don’t know what to use. I have hyper pigmentation so dark spots just stay on my face! This is awful. So who knows which one works better? Dr. Miracles acne system or Proactiv? I need something that is no more than 25 30 dollars.
